Current state and prospects of ukrainian european integration

The article examines the current state and prospects of Ukrainian European integration from the point of view of approximation of Ukrainian legislation to the legislation of the European Union, making appropriate changes in the regulatory framework of Ukraine and their implementation. Particular emphasis is placed on determining the specifics of the approximation of Ukrainian legislation in various fields, the problems of defining these processes and the difficulties that arise during their implementation.

European Union's Initiatives in the Struggle against the Propaganda of Terrorism (Research Article)

In the article, the author analyzes the EU initiatives that prevent radicalization, reduce the impact of destructive content, and increase public awareness and the ability to distinguish objective information from fakes and disinformation. The author emphasizes that the EU’s struggle against radicalization, extremism and terrorism is based on four “pillars”:

In the article the authors analyze the institutional basis for strengthening the EU security and the implementation of specific projects designed to expand cooperation between the Member States in the defence and security sectors. The point at  issue  is about Permanent Structured Cooperation  (PESCO);  the Coordinated Annual Review on Defence  (CARD) and the European Defence Fund (EDF).

Principles of legal regulation of public procurementsin the European Union

This article discusses the principles of legal regulation of public procurement in theEuropean Union for adaptation into national legislation in terms of reforming publicadministration and development of the information society. Analyzes the principles oftransparency, proportionality, transparency, mutual recognition, fairness, objectivity, theminimum value of the position of the Court in the context of the EU principle of transparency128of public authorities in the EU member states and implementation of information andcommunication technologies.

Great Britain's exit from the European Union: consequences for Northern Ireland (Research Article)

It is examined the preconditions and consequences of Great Britain ’s exit from the European Union for Northern Ireland. This study is actualized by the fact that Northern Ireland and some other regions of the United Kingdom after the referendum on Brexit declared their separatist intentions.

Improvement of legal regulation providing administrative services

The article addresses the problem of improving the legal regulation of administrative services in Ukraine in the context of adapting national legislation to the European Union. Analyzes the concept of “administrative services”, the ratio of administrative and public services, the principles of administrative services, standardization in this area, the administrative and legal regulation of administrative services, directions of improvement of legislation aimed at improving quality.

Development of the provision of electronic administrative services: regulatory aspect

In the article the fall of regulation on the development of the provision of electronic administrative services in Ukraine in the context of the experience of e-government in the member states of the European Union. On the basis of the legislation of Ukraine and other normative acts reveal the essence of the provision of administrative services in electronic form of electronic interaction between authorities determined the problems arising in consequence of the use of information and communication technologies.

Harmonization legislation of Ukraine and European Union about administrative responsibility in the area of labor migration

The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of regulation of administrative responsibility in the sphere of labor migration. Analyzes of administrative violations in the sphere of labor migration provided by law. We consider some aspects of harmonization of national legislation on administrative responsibility to the legislation of the Member States of the European Union. The identified issues and proposed ways to improve the regulatory framework.

Reinforcing the Eastern Partnership Influence on the Transformation of Ukraine

In the article, the authors analyze Ukraine in the context of the Eastern Partnership. It is pointed out that Ukraine needs to modernize the economy and strengthen its position both in the Eastern European market and in the European Union. The authors of the article emphasize that Ukraine should implement institutional reforms and rationally manage the funds raised from the European Union. It is also considered that in order to attract more investors Ukraine must also create good conditions for foreign investors to increase their (and thus the state’s) income.

Comparative Analysis of the European Security Strategy(2003) and Global Strategy of the European Unity (2016)

In this article, the authors carried out a comparative analysis of the European Security Strategy (2003) and Global Strategy of the European Union (2016) in order to track the evolution of perception of threats and challenges to the international system. This comparison answers a number of scientific questions. In particular: Are security risks in Europe, published in 2003, still relevant? Have the methods and means of combating difficulties changed for 13 years? Which methods were decisive? Is the EU’s security strategy, despite some cosmetic changes, still relevant?
