Foreign Trade Position of Ukraine in the Eu: Study of Change Trends During the Period of Marital Status

In the conditions of deepening the processes of European integration, the article analyses the main foreign trade partners of Ukraine. In order to study trends in changes in foreign trade during the period of martial law, the article uses 3 analytical periods: 1st quarter 2020, 1st quarter 2022, 1st quarter 2024. Cluster analysis implemented in SPSS from IBM was used to form groups of foreign trade partners.

ASSESSMENT OF THE PRODUCTION AND EXPORT-IMPORT POTENTIAL OF THE SUGAR MARKET

The purpose. The aim of the study is to investigate the trends in the development of the sugar market in Ukraine, taking into account the trends in the global sugar market.
The objectives of the study are as follows:
– to analyse certain parameters of the global sugar market;
–- studying the specifics of the sugar market in Ukraine and its export-import potential in the context of macroeconomic and geopolitical disturbances;
– studying the impact of the beet industry on the efficiency of the sugar market in Ukraine.

STUDY OF EXPORT AND IMPORT POTENTIAL OF THE SALT MARKET IN UKRAINE

Purpose. Objective of the work – to study the state and development trends of the salt market in Ukraine and its place in the global salt market in the context of increasing competition in times of turmoil. Tasks of the work – to analyze the dynamics of global salt production in general and across leading countries; to identify the specifics of export-import activities by salt-producing countries; to determine the position of Ukraine's salt market in the global salt market during the war.

Fighting smuggling in Ukraine: measures and challenges

Ukraine, as a modern state, faces the challenge of effectively combating smuggling, which not only leads to significant budget losses but also poses a threat to national security and economic development. This article discusses the key aspects of this problem, from the causes of smuggling of equipment to the low level of incentives for customs officers and the threats they face.

The reasons for smuggling are discussed, such as corruption, excessive customs duties and taxes, and imperfect legislation.

The usage of genetic algorithms when planning railway transportation in international connection

The railway transport system in Ukraine stands as a pivotal sector within the nation's transportation infrastructure, accounting for a substantial portion of freight and passenger movement compared to domestic alternative modes of transportation. With direct border connections and collaboration with railways in Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC facilitate operations through forty international railway crossings.

Gross Domestic Product of Ukraine in the Context of Global Challenges

The article analyses the dynamics of Ukraine's GDP in the light of social and political challenges of recent years. Ukraine's GDP dynamics were negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing full-scale russian invasion. The factors that caused a slowdown in economic growth in most regions of the world are also outlined: large-scale quarantine measures, supply chain disruptions, the abolition of fiscal stimulus for economic development, and tight monetary policies of central banks in developed countries.

Challenges of the metallurgical industry of Ukraine in the current conditions

The relevance of the study is due to the full-scale invasion of the territory of our country by the enemy, which led to the suspension of the work of most Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in the East of Ukraine, and caused a significant decrease in planned indicators and production volumes. The constant attacks on energy infrastructure also negatively affected the operations of such enterprises. Since March 2022, mining and metals companies in the government-controlled areas of Ukraine have continued to operate at a loss.

Features of the export of certified dairy products to the European Union countries in the conditions of Russian aggression in Ukraine

The article attempts to investigate the peculiarities of exporting domestically produced dairy products to the European Union countries in the conditions of full-scale invasion and aggression of the occupier of russia. It caused colossal moral and material losses and damages for Ukraine, including for all sectors of the economy and infrastructural sectors of the economy. Among other sectors of the economy, the production of dairy products in the structure of food production suffered significant damage.

On the way to European integration, Ukraine is facing many tasks related to the fulfillment of obligations under the Association Agreement with the European Union. One of the key places in the list of such tasks is harmonization of domestic customs legislation in terms of customs procedures with the norms of the European Union. In the context of assistance in solving this problem the essence and structure of customs procedures under the legislation of the European Union were studied.
