BAHMUT CITY IN UKRAINE, STAGES OF ITS HISTORICAL-ARCHITECTURAL DEVELOPMENT
The article analyzes the historical and architectural development of Bakhmut, identifying five main periods of the city's development:

In this article, written for Ukrainian readers, the author concerns the features of the functioning of small towns. For this, he used examples of small towns in Saxony. The development of the aspect is based on many examples and field observations. A preliminary study by the author on this topic allowed him to check their result in discussions about the good quality of life in the city. The author concluded that not enough attention of government focused on the issue of state development planning for such settlements.
